My name is Lisa Ellestad and my husband Josh and my two kids Sariah and Aiden. Our home is located in Brock, Texas just west of Weatherford. I’ve always loved raising horses, and goats back home in Australia I moved to the USA to work in the Horse Cutting industry and after having kids I decided to change direction to something more kid friendly. In 2007 we started with two pet goats Cracker and Tina because I wanted some baby goats for my daughter Sariah to play with. In 2009, we visited a Fullblood breeder in Athens and came back with a buck and two does. Since then we have brought more from other breeders and continue to build a great herd. We are bringing the colored and paint specialty and making that our main focus . We hope to venture into the show ring and provide FFA’s babies to show. The pictures that we have taken are just every day pictures. We feed our goats a well balanced feed along with coastal hay for roughage. Mineral blocks are placed in pastures and the kids are on creep feeders until they can’t fit any more. This years theme with the names are a mixed of kids movies, kids cartoon shows and “Disney characters”. My kids enjoy naming the babies and it is differently fun times.
